Through our collective efforts, we aspire to create a harmonious synergy between music, environmental consciousness, and marine conservation, ensuring that the marine heritage of Ibiza, the Mediterranean Sea, and oceans on a global scale thrive for generations to come.

our initiative:
The Posidonia Project

The organization, founded by composer and island resident Coco Francavilla, is fueled by the pressing recognition that the Ibiza prominent role in the electronic music scene has both positive benefits and challenges, including adverse impacts on its precious sea due to excessive club tourism and its ecological footprint.

Through multidisciplinary projects, such as the first initiative, THE POSIDONIA PROJECT, which focuses on protecting the essential Mediterranean underwater eco-system, we aim to raise funds and awareness to give back to Ibiza and safeguard its precious marine heritage for future generations.

MUSIC FOR THE SEA aims to expand synergies with the electronic music community worldwide, utilizing various channels such as music events, album releases, podcasts, radio shows, educational presentations, and participation in music festivals, to raise awareness not only for the Balearic Sea but also for the global state of our oceans.
