Marta De Pascalis is a Berlin-based Italian composer and sound designer whose work fuses analog synthesis, tape loops, and immersive sonic layering. Her 2024 release Sky Flesh on Caterina Barbieri’s Light Years label marked a bold evolution in her sound—an expansive, emotionally resonant journey that explores memory, decay, and transformation. Known for her hypnotic live performances, Marta has played festivals like CTM, the Venice Biennale, and at Berghain. As a contributor to the Posidonia Soundscapes project by Music For The Sea, she brings her signature sonic language to support marine conservation, using sound to amplify the hidden life of the Mediterranean.
